Mari Griffith - Art Advisor

With seventeen years’ experience in interpretation and education in museums and galleries, Mari Griffith has devised and directed interpretation projects; managed education programmes; and written, edited and produced a wide range of interpretive materials for art museums and heritage sites (audio/multimedia guides, books, exhibition texts, TV and radio scripts).
Having gained a B.A. in Italian and History of Art (C19 and C20 European and American art) an M.A. in Renaissance Studies from the University of London, Mari worked at the National Gallery and Royal Academy of Arts in London and the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. before joining Antenna Audio. As Staff Writer, she wrote audio and multimedia tours for a wide range of museums and arts institutions, including English Heritage, Historic Royal Palaces, the National Gallery, Royal Academy of Arts, British Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum and Tate Britain. From 2008, as Creative Director Italy, Mari oversaw Antenna Audio’s productions in Italy, where clients included the Vatican Museums, Palazzo Grassi Venice and Palazzo Reale Milan.
Mari has also lectured and broadcast widely about art and has written several introductory books for adults and young people.
